Vista Series   "Here, Looking to There"  &  "Here, Looking at Now"    Summer road trips moving through landscape, from early dawn through late dusk, a slow journey to the distant vista.   

The board is prepared with multiple layers of gesso and marble dust to create a luminous matte surface.   I build the surfaces with gestural marks, drawings, and color washes, rubbing off some areas to leave a memory of color or line. They are best viewed in person to see the subtilties of the chalky surface. 

Framed in white wood  7" x 7" x 1 ¼”  overall finished framed dimension. Pre-wired and hangs flush on wall.
